Cary Granite imports granite directly from overseas and we work with a network of domestic distributors to ensure that a wide selection of first quality granites are always available at the right price.
The majority of our projects are custom cut at our fabrication facility from full slabs of granite, which are roughly 6’ x 10’. In addition, Cary Granite utilizes pre-finished granite components. This innovative approach has allowed us to make granite available to all customers with countertop needs. Many homeowners assume that granite countertops are much too expensive for the average homeowner and settle for inferior products. Cary Granite gives you the best of both worlds; a beautiful finished product at a price you can afford!
How does Cary Granite utilize granite components? The process starts by pre-cutting the granite slabs into standard countertop widths and lengths. The edges of the precut “sections” are finished at the quarry (overseas). The sections are inspected for quality assurance, carefully loaded into crates; the crates are loaded into containers, which are then transported to the USA via ship. After arriving in the USA, the container is transported directly to Cary Granite's warehouse and placed in inventory where they wait to be fabricated and installed. There are no middlemen!
Sections of granite are much easier to work with then slabs of granite and the majority of cutting, polishing, and profiling is already completed overseas, which significantly reduces manufacturing costs. The simplicity of the installation along with the pre-cut granite sections translate into substantial savings to Cary Granite and ultimately to you, the customer!
